ISO 22716 STANDARD
Published in 2007 by ISO, the ISO 22716 standard defines Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetic products, guaranteeing quality, safety and conformity throughout the production cycle.
In accordance with European Regulation No. 1223/2009, it covers production, control, storage, and shipping. Although not mandatory, ISO 22716 certification is a mark of trust recognized by authorities, customers, and partners.

THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS
Our certification process is simple:

Analysis of your needs and the sites to be audited

Feasibility study and preparation of a quotation

Signing of the quotation and the contract

Pre-audit (optional): document review (upon request) and on-site audit

Initial audit: document review and on-site audit
-
Surveillance audits: on-site audit only:

Year 1 (N+1): 12 months after the initial audit

Year 2 (N+2): 24 months after the initial audit

Renewal audit: document review and on-site audit:

Year 3 (N+3): 36 months after the initial audit

At the end of the initial audit, we issue a certificate valid for 3 years. During the renewal audit, this certificate is extended for another 3 years.
